How giving by code worksA link only works for people with data and a smartphone. Plenty of the people who'd give to you have neither, or not today. But almost everyone has dialed a code to check their balance. A USSD code turns that habit into a way to give.
Everything happens on the website. Only your supporters need the phone.

Have your passport or national ID card ready. People who give by dialing never see your campaign page or your verified badge, so we check who you are for them.
Open your campaign from your dashboard. The button is near the top, and your code is ready in a few seconds. Your campaign must be live to get one.
Say it at church or the mosque, in the market, on local radio. Post it in your WhatsApp groups. Download the poster image from your campaign page. It has your code printed on it.
Dial the code on an Orange Money or AfriMoney line.
Type how much you want to give.
Confirm with your PIN. Your gift goes to that campaign.
Only dial a code you got from the person raising the money, or saw on their campaign page on ib4me.org.
Outside Sierra Leone, or on another network? Find the campaign and give by card.
