Technology is transforming the way young people learn, work, and create opportunities. Yet for many girls in Sierra Leone's underserved and hard-to-reach communities, access to digital education and STEM remains out of reach. Limited access to computers, technology, innovation spaces, and hands-on learning means that many talented girls are at risk of being left behind in an increasingly digital world.
From communities such as Kroo Bay, Grassfield, Waterloo, Bassah Town, Bonthe, Pujehun, Kambia, Koinadugu, Falaba, and other last-mile communities across Sierra Leone, thousands of girls have the potential to become innovators, engineers, entrepreneurs, and leaders—but lack the opportunities to develop the digital skills needed to achieve their dreams.
The Leave No Girl Behind Campaign was created by DEVHER to change that. By bringing free, hands-on training in computer literacy, coding, electronics, 3D printing, and other emerging technologies directly into underserved communities, we are ensuring that girls who are often reached last are no longer left behind.
Your support will help provide STEM learning kits, digital learning materials, transportation, internet access, meals, and other essential resources needed to reach girls at no cost to their families.
